Shazam App (Apple)

Apple-owned Shazam app on Wednesday announced that it has surpassed 200 million monthly active users worldwide.

For those of you who aren’t aware, Apple acquired Shazam back in 2018. Apple, while making the announcement, had noted that Shazam was one of the first apps available on the App Store when it was launched. The app lets users identify songs simply by listening to the music playing around them. As of now, Shazam is available as a standalone app. It is also available as a built-in feature on iPhones and iPads.
