Devotees are not being allowed to participate due to Covid-19 restrictions, but they can watch the Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra live streaming online. Some 3,000 'sevayat' (servitors) and 1,000 temple officials will be allowed to perform all rituals, an official had revealed.

This is in order to protect devotees from the deadly coronavirus and its many variants.
