Apple released MacOS version 11.2 earlier this week. This update bought a host of bug fixes along with improved Bluetooth reliability to the PCs and MacBooks running on MacOS Big Sur. Now, a day after releasing MacOS 11.2, Apple has seeded the beta version of Big Sur 11.3 to developers giving us a glimpse of what we should expect from MacOS’ future update.
MacOS Big Sur 11.3, as per a report by MacRumours, brings better customisations for Safari, which includes bringing ways to rearranging different sections on the Start Page. In addition to that, the update also brings optimisation iOS apps running on Macs powered by Apple’s M1 chips.
The update includes a new preference pane that allows users to set keyboard shortcuts for touch-based commands on iPads. Not only that the iPadOS apps also launch with larger windows, that is, if your Mac’s display allows it.
In addition to that, Reminders app is also getting an upgrade. Developers will now be able to sort reminders based on a variety of factors such as due date, priority and date of creation among others. They will also be able to print their reminders.
The list doesn’t end there. Apple Music will get a shortcut for Made for You playlist and live and upcoming events will be highlighted in the For You Tab. Apple has something in store for the Apple News app as well. The company has redesigned the Apple News+ tab adding a dedicated For You section and a Browse tab that makes it easy for users to browse through the content.
