Samsung Galaxy S8 launch: Return phone unconditionally from 3 months of purchase

Desperate times call for desperate moves! And there is no doubt that Samsung is desperate to clean the dirt trail left over by its Galaxy Note 7 fiasco.

Reports claim that Samsung is doing everything under the sun to get its clean image back. Not only has it started a new laboratory to make sure phones don't explode but it also might take a huge risk and offer customers an 'unconditional return' from three months of purchase on the Galaxy S8 smartphones.

Here is what to expect from Samsung S8 launch

According to a report in The Investor that cites Korean outlet Chosun Biz, the company may offer Galaxy S8 buyers a three-month unconditional return policy. Currently most smartphones offer upto two weeks - an industry average.

To recall, Samsung had to finally scrap the Galaxy Note 7 post release as consumers reported that some phones were catching fire. Samsung recalled the products and re-released them but incidents of fire or explosions were reported again before the company took the decision to scrap the model.

Samsung promises safer batteries

On Tuesday, Samsung said that it plans to bring back some components of the Galaxy Note 7 and sell them as refurbished phones.

The company is expected to launch its latest flagship series Galaxy S8 smartphones in New York on Wednesday.
