Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite India launch teased on Amazon

Samsung is planning to introduce another Android tablet in India, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. This device is not brand new per se since it has already launched back in April in Indonesia. The South Korean tech firm has started teasing the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite via Amazon India an on Twitter. Right now, one can only see the ‘Notify Me’ option on the e-commerce website along with some highlights - speed, memory and power.

This also indicates that Amazon might be one of the exclusive online partners for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

Since the tablet has been launched outside India, the specs are not a secret. What however, remains to be revealed is the price. Samsung may launch the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in two variants 6GB RAM+64GB storage and 128GB storage respectively.

Although the device looks like last year’s Galaxy Tab S6 and supports S Pen as well, but misses out on the fingerprint sensor.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite features

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite features a 10.4-inch WUGXA (1,200x2,000 pixels) TFT display. The tablet is powered by an octa-core chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. There's a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.

For photography, Galaxy Tab S6 Lite sports a single 8-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Galaxy Tab S6 Lite packs a 7,040mAh battery with video playback time of up to 13 hours.

On the software front, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite runs Android 10 with OneUI 2.0 out-of-the-box. Its connectivity options include dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also comes with AKG speakers and Dolby Atmos support.
