Microsoft issues emergency patch to fix Windows vulnerability

Microsoft has rolled out an emergency patch to fix this bug that is listed as ‘critical’ on its website. The fix is available for all versions of its Windows operating system to patch this vulnerability on July 6. The list includes the Windows Server 2019, the Windows Server 2012 R2, the Windows Server 2008, Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, and supported versions of Windows 10.

BSNL launches ₹75, ₹94, and ₹447 prepaid plans

BSNL has launched three new plans for its prepaid users in India. These Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) are priced at ₹447, ₹94 and ₹75. Apart from launching new prepaid plans, BSNL has also revised its ₹699 plan voucher (PV).

boAt announces XTEND smartwatch

Boat has launched a new smartwatch called Xtend in the Indian market. The Xtend comes with built-in Alexa and a host of sensors on board to track your health and fitness. The watch also has a stress monitor, SpO2 sensor, heart rate sensor and a sleep monitor.

Samsung to host Galaxy Unpacked 2021 on August 11

Samsung has confirmed that it will host the next Galaxy Unpacked event on August 11. This confirms rumours and leaks on Samsung launching new devices at its next Galaxy Unpacked on August 11. This would be Samsung’s third Galaxy Unpacked event this year.

Samsung launches world’s first 11.1.4 channel soundbar

Samsung has launched a whole range of soundbars under its lineup for this year. Along with this Samsung has introduced an 11.1.4 channel soundbar as well. The new soundbars are available online and in Samsung’s official stores from today (July 7) onwards. Prices for the soundbars start at ₹27,990 and go all the way up to ₹147,990.
