Motorola smart TVs, smart home appliances to launch today on Flipkart

Motorola has scheduled an event for today where it will launch new smart TVs and smart home appliances. The new Motorola products will be available on Flipkart.

Motorola’s event is scheduled to start at 3:00 pm later today. The launch event will be live streamed, and you can watch it through this link. Motorola has already launched smart TVs through Flipkart in India. This will be the first time we see smart home appliances from the company. Based on its teaser page on Flipkart, Motorola has a washing machine, AC and fridge in its lineup.

The new Motorola smart TVs are confirmed to launch with the new MediaTek MT9602 chipset. We had also reported that Motorola will launch smart TVs in 43 and 55 inches with 4K resolution. These smart TVs will be equipped with 360-degree surround sound and Dolby Atmos 3D. In terms of design, the Motorola smart TVs will feature thin bezels and include a stand at the bottom.

Motorola also plans to launch HD and Full HD Tvs in 32 and 40 inches, respectively. These smart TVs will cater to the budget range, and come with motion-blur reduction and 2.4 GHz / 5.0 GHz Dual-band WiFi. Motorola’s new smart TVs will go on sale most likely during the Big Billion Days which is scheduled to start on October 16 and will continue till October 21.

Flipkart currently sells a range of Motorola smart TVs starting at ₹13,999 for the 32-inch HD model, and going up to ₹64,999 for the 65-inch UHD model.
