Call Of Duty: Warzone is one of the most popular first-person shooter and battle royale games around the world and one of Activision's most successful games releases in recent times, crossing a whopping 100 million active players in April. However, one of the biggest pain points for players has been the skin used by an operator called Roze in the game, which has been fixed by the developers, according to a new report.

The ‘Rook' skin that was introduced last year as part of the game's special content, featuring an all-black uniform, with a black face mask that also had black paint around her eyes. However, given how some parts of Call Of Duty: Warzone are extremely dark or dimly lit, the Rook skin ended up being the bane of many a player, resulting in them being attacked out of the blue or ambushed without any warning.

The reason why players found the Rook skin extremely difficult to deal with that once they were ambushed and killed, the nature of a battle royale game means that they are unable to respawn (regenerate) until the match is complete. This would put them at a disadvantage against other players, and many players accused the game of encouraging a pay-to-win system as the Rook skin was available as part of the Battle Pass and only available past level 100.

However, according to Eurogamer, the latest version of Call Of Duty: Warzone which was released on June 17, makes tweaks to the Rook skin, allowing users to spot it more easily while moving. The report states that those hiding inside the shadows will still benefit from the skin's design, but that the changes have introduced a glow that could end up making it more visible in certain scenarios.
