iPhones are by far one of the world's most popular devices with hundreds of millions of people having bought them. Made by Apple, iPhones, especially newer ones like the iPhone 13, have also established their position as the best smartphones in the market with their flagship performance and ease of use. However, more often than not, people simply use their iPhone 13 to make and attend calls or check out their social media accounts. However, there are numerous smart features buried just under the surface which can make your life easy.

So, check out the top 5 iPhone 13 tips and tricks to make you a pro iOS user.

    1. Set custom “Respond with Text” responses

Do you get calls often when you're driving? You can simply drop them a message using the preset “Respond with text” answers. However, there are only 3 options available. But don't worry, you can also set custom answers for all situations. Simply go to Settings, then tap on Phone. Select Respond with Text option and set your custom responses.

    2. Measure and Level tool

Did you know that your iPhone 13 could fulfill the purpose of the measuring tape and level tool too? Yes! The iPhone 13 lets users measure objects using the back camera. You can also use the level tool to check the surface angle of an object.

    3. Hide Private photos

Have a lot of private or sensitive photos on your iPhone 13 which you don't want others to see? Your iPhone has got your back. You can hide photos from your Photos app to your Hidden folder. Simply select the image(s) which you wish to hide, tap on the share button and select hide. You can find the hidden images in the hidden folder secured by the FaceID lock.

    4. Flash alerts for notifications

iPhones have some distinct features which make them stand apart from other smartphones. One of them is the option to turn on flash alerts for notifications. To turn on flash alerts, go to Settings, Accessibility and tap on Audio/Visual. Turn on the LED Flash for Alerts option.

    5. Change Live Photo effects

Live Photos lets users capture life's perfect moments as a still picture along with a 2-second video. The feature also allows users to change the Live Photo effects to make it boomerang-esque. To do this, go to the Photos app and open a Live Photo. Then tap on the arrow on the top left. You'll get a list of options such as Live, Loop, Bounce, Long Exposure and Off. Select and apply the effect according to your choice.
