MSI launches Summit E16 Flip, Summit E13 Flip Evo laptops with MSI Pen and USB-C docking station

Both MSI Summit laptops come with a 16:10 aspect ratio and have a chassis made using CNC machining process.

MSI, the brand better known for its PCs, laptops and components, has launched its MSI Summit E16 Flip and MSI Pen along with Summit E13 Flip Evo 2-in-1 laptops. The firm has also introduced MSI USB-C Docking Station Gen 2. All these were launched at the company's ‘MSIology: Determined to Succeed 2021' virtual event. The series is aimed at business users and how they can improve their productivity. The company has even confirmed that these laptops will be launching in India later this year. However, it has not yet revealed any fixed time frame or anything about the prices.

The Summit E13 Flip Evo has a 13-inch screen size while the Summit E16 Flip has a tilting 16-inch display. Both come with a 16:10 aspect ratio and have a chassis made using CNC machining process. You can rotate the screen to 360-degrees for different working scenarios as well. MSI's new laptops come with Ink-Black or Pure-White case. Powered by up to Intel 11th-gen Core i7 platform with Intel Iris XE graphics, the new MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo is claimed to deliver up to 20-hour battery life.

It also has Wi-Fi 6E technology for better and faster Wi-Fi coverage, Thunderbolt 4 support, PCIe Gen4 SSD, USB-A (3.2) port, USB-C (4.0) port with PD and DisplayPort support and a 3.5mm audio combo jack. The Summit E13 Flip Evo also features triple webcam protection including indicator light, on/off hotkey, and physical switch on the side of the laptop. There's also MSI AI Noise Cancellation and the Noise Reduction CAM for those who are on video calls and meeting throughout the day.

The Summit E16 Flip is claimed as the thinnest convertible laptop in the 16-inch 2-in-1 laptop market by the firm. It has an Ink-Black design with diamond-cut edges for a premium and sleek look. Besides Intel 11th-gen support, it also comes with NVIDIA graphics card and a new thermal design - Dynamic Cooler Boost. With this, the system is said to produce only 35dB sound when the CPU is under full load.

The MSI Pen provides 4096-level pressure sensitivity and MPP2.0 technology for stable connection. The MSI USB-C Docking Station Gen2 can connect up to 3 displays and with 5 extra USB ports. It has 100W power output and 4K video output as well.
