So, if you are planning to buy a laptop to replace your current system, there are a lot of important things you need to keep in mind so you don’t miss out on things you’ll actually need on an everyday basis. Before buying a laptop, one must take note of their requirements and make the decision accordingly. As laptops come with a myriad of offerings in different ranges, knowing one’s niche is crucial. However, there are a few features that form the backbone of a good machine, especially for working or studying from home. And to help you out there, the people from ASUS have some pointers for you to tick off when you go browsing for a new laptop. Also read click here. Outstanding colour accurate display A laptop’s display is an extremely important aspect to consider. Laptops equipped with an OLED panel offer sharper and noticeably vivid display, providing better image quality, lifelike colours and a low response time, all while encompassing a thinner design. Video editors, photographers, content creators that are specifically looking for superior picture quality, OLED screens will be your savior. Some laptops also come with TUV Rheinland Certification that protects the eyes from harmful blue light and is highly recommended for everyone working or studying from home. All-day battery life One of the important features to look out for in a laptop is its battery backup. While working from home, one may face several dilemmas such as electricity outages, no nearby power outlet, or moving closer (away from a power outlet) to get a proper Wi-Fi signal. This is where better battery life will help users continue with their work without letting the external factors take control. A laptop offering power efficiency of up to at least three to four hours of backup is suitable for work from home space. In addition to offering notable battery backup, the laptop should also offer fast-charge technology so you can be up and running quicker than ever. Compact and versatile performance Meeting deadlines while working from home already has its own set of difficulties and a slow laptop doesn’t help. To keep sluggishness at bay, users must always test and try the performance of a new laptop before buying it. A minimum of 8GB RAM along with a technologically advanced processor including Intel 11th Generation Intel Core processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics are recommended for a fast-performing laptop that can help you maintain productivity throughout the day. Providing new solutions including a comfortable keyboard, proper ventilation space, are also some of the factors to keep in mind. Web camera With all meetings turning to video calls, users must not forget this feature while purchasing their next laptop. Not all laptops come with an inbuilt web camera, and thus, it is important to check beforehand. Wireless connectivity Laptops need to offer a range of wireless connectivity options. Since users require constant Wi-Fi connectivity and need to use Bluetooth headsets for work and meetings, one must look for notable connectivity options available in a laptop. Users must look for a minimum of two wireless connectivity options on their laptops. We recommend the latest Wi-fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 technology, so that you’ll always enjoy the fastest possible speeds. Immersive audio with noise cancellation With the surge in remote working culture and video conferences, it is highly important to ensure that the users have the best experience while delivering a presentation. Laptops that feature noise cancellation tools have become a saviour in a work-from-home situation. After all, nobody wants to listen to any background noise during an official meeting or online class. A keyboard that supports all your needs A comfortable typing experience can vastly differentiate laptops of each brand. Whether you are working from your couch, half asleep on your bed, or slouching on your sofa, a comfortable keyboard is a major requirement for all those professional work and presentations. A flexible keyboard with an edge-to-edge keyboard design is a must-have, and if there’s space for a whole row of extra function keys improving productivity, nothing like it.
