Redmi has launched the RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition, its first laptops in India, with the latest Intel Tiger Lake 11th Gen processors. Here’s what you need to know about these devices.

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi on Tuesday announced the launch of two laptops in India, the RedmiBook Pro and the RedmiBook e-Learning Edition. These are Redmi’s first laptops in the country, and were previously teased at the company’s launch event for the Redmi Note 10 5G a few days ago. The devices are powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake processors and come with 8GB of RAM and NVMe SSDs. The RedmiBook laptops have a 15.6-inch FHD display and also boast 65W fast charging with a battery life of up to 10 hours.

Redmi states that it has optimised the performance of these devices, and has recorded a boot time of 13.36 seconds, wake time of 1.01 seconds, and a reboot time of 20.34 seconds. From pricing to availability and detailed specifications of the newly launched RedmiBook Pro and the RedmiBook e-Learning Edition, here’s everything you need to know about Redmi’s new laptops.

RedmiBook Pro and Redmibook e-Learning Edition price in India, availability

The RedmiBook Pro is priced at 49,999 and will be sold on Flipkart, Mi.com and in Mi Home stores. Meanwhile the Redmibook e-Learning Edition is priced at 41,999 and 44,999 for the 256GB and 512GB storage variants – they will be available for purchase from Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores. The company will sell the RedmiBook Pro and Redmibook e-Learning Edition in Charcoal Grey colour and the sales for the device will begin on August 6 at 12 PM. HDFC Bank users will also have the option of availing discounts on the RedmiBook 15 series that will bring the price of the RedmiBook Pro to 46,499, while the Redmibook e-Learning Edition will be available at 39,499 and 42,499 for the 256GB and 512GB storage variants, respectively. 

RedmiBook Pro specifications

The RedmiBook Pro is powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i5-11300H Tiger Lake processor, with a maximum frequency of 4.4GHz. The device comes with Intel Iris Xe Graphics, and is coupled with 8GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM. On the storage front, the RedmiBook Pro is equipped with a 512GB NVMe SSD. The device has a 15.6-inch FHD display and comes with an anti-glare finish. The laptop has a 46WHr battery and supports charging at 65W. It has support for dual-channel 5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. According to Redmi, the RedmiBook Pro will offer a battery life of 10 hours.

RedmiBook e-Learning Edition Specifications

The RedmiBook e-Learning Edition is powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4 Tiger Lake processor, and comes with 8GB of DDR4 memory at 3200 MHz. It has a 15.6-inch FHD display and comes with a storage of up to 512GB of internal storage with an SSD. The laptop offers 10 hours of battery life, according to Redmi. Like the RedmiBook Pro, the RedmiBook e-Learning Edition comes with 1.5mm deep key travel for better typing and also comes with a large multi-touch trackpad. The device also supports dual-channel 5 GHz Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 5.0, according to the company.
