Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite gets DeX mode with One UI 3.1

Samsung has finally added support for DeX mode on the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with the latest One UI 3.1 update.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is the latest device to get the One UI 3.1 update based on Android 11. This update also finally brings Samsung's DeX support on the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

Samsung Dex on the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite gives it a desktop-like interface when connected to a monitor or TV. This feature was not available on the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite when it launched which was quite surprising. But with the latest One UI 3.1 update, Galaxy Tab S6 Lite users can now start using DeX mode. In addition to DeX mode, One UI 3.1 update also brings a refreshed UI, one-time permissions for apps, permissions auto reset, media player widget in the quick settings menu, chat bubbles, and more.

Galaxy Tab S6 Lite users can check if they've received the update by going to the settings menu, and selecting software update. With the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, Samsung skipped the One UI 3.0 update and rolled out the One UI 3.1 update instead.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite last year. It's an affordable version of the Galaxy Tab S6, and it also comes with the S Pen. The tablet features a 10.4-inch display, and it comes bundled with the S Pen. It has AKG powered dual speakers, and Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound. On the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, you get an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. It also packs a 7,040mAh battery. The tablet comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage on both the models.
