Get the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro for at least ₹5,000 less: Here's how

Pre-orders for the iPhone iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro have begun today. Depending on where you buy it from, you can bag a deal that's at least ₹5,000 less.

The spanking new Apple iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro pre-orders have kicked off today. You can place your orders on the Apple Store right now and the device will be shipped in ‘5 to 7 business days'. 

Just to remind you, iPhone 12 starts at ₹79,900 for the base model with 64GB storage. iPhone 12 with 128GB and 256GB storage is priced at ₹84,900 and ₹94,900, respectively. iPhone 12 comes in five colour options of white, black, blue, green and red.

The base model of iPhone 12 Pro has 128GB storage, and it's priced at ₹1,19,900. iPhone 12 Pro also comes in 256GB and 512GB storage variants with price tags of ₹1,29,900 and ₹1,49,900, respectively. iPhone 12 Pro is offered in four colour options of graphite, silver, gold and pacific blue. 

There are trade-in and EMI options that you can avail on both the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro through the Apple online store. You can also place your orders on Flipkart and at Apple's authorised resellers.

The cheaper deal

However, if you are looking to really steal a deal, Ingram Micro India, on the indiastore.com, is offering you the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro with ₹5,000 and ₹ 6,000 cashback respectively. Customers can also get a ₹6,000 Exchange Bonus if they exchange their old smartphone.

This offer is, most importantly, valid on EMI transactions on HDFC Bank Debit and Credit Cards and Non-EMI transactions at select stores.

There is an ‘Effective Price Calculator on HDFC Bank Cards' on the site where you can check how much you will be paying for the new device. 

We checked some out and saw that the price of the base model of the iPhone 12 (64GB) was ₹73,900, down from ₹79,900. The 128GB variant was ₹78,900 down from ₹84,900 and the 256GB version was ₹88,900 down from ₹94,900. 

For the iPhone 12 Pro, the base model (128GB), the price on the site is ₹1,14,900, down from ₹1,19,900. The 256GB version costs ₹1,24,900, down from ₹1,29,900 and the top-end 512GB version costs ₹1,44,900, down from ₹1,49,900. 

You can also add the ₹6,000 Exchange Bonus if you are trading-in an old smartphone which will bring the price down further. 

However, before you go for this, we recommend you check out the deal you are getting if you trade in your smartphone on the Apple Store as well. For example, when we checked with an iPhone 11, Apple Store was offering a ₹37,000 instant credit bringing down the price of the iPhone 12 (256GB) to ₹57,900. 

Of course, how much instant credit you are going to get depends entirely on the model and condition of the smartphone you are trading in.
