Poco M2 Pro gets February 2021 security patch in latest update

    Poco has started rolling out a new update that brings the latest February Android security patch for M2 Pro. The new update is rolling out to Poco M2 Pro users in India.

    The update weighs less than 600MB and it’s available as MIUI V12.0.3.0.QJPINXM. There’s no other feature or improvement that comes with this update except for the February 2021 Android security patch. This update was first spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav. Poco M2 Pro users should get a notification for the update or they can check it manually from the settings menu under software update.

    Poco launched the M2 Pro in India last year in July. The smartphone starts at 13,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It also comes in variants of 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. It comes in three colour options of black, blue and green.

    In terms of specs, Poco M2 Pro features a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G with up to 512GB expandable storage.

    It has a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a 16-megapixel punch-hole camera for selfies. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It also comes with a USB Type-C port.

    Poco M2 Pro also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 4G dual SIM support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.0.
