Realme 7i with Snapdragon 662 chipset, 5,000mAh battery launched

Realme 7i is the most affordable phone in the series yet after the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro.

Realme has launched a new smartphone from its latest ‘Realme 7' series. It's the Realme 7i that launched alongside the Realme 7 in Indonesia. Realme 7 has already made its debut in India but Realme 7i is a new addition to the series.

Realme 7i is priced at IDR 3,199,000 ( 15,800 approx), and it comes in only one variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone has two colour options of Aurora Green and Polar Blue. Realme 7 carries a price tag of IDR 3,999,000 ( 20,000 approx). It's the same phone that launched in India except that this Realme 7i has NFC support. Both phones go on sale starting today in Indonesia.

Realme 7i is the most affordable phone in the series which also means some toned down specs and features. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 processor, and it has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate.

In the camera department, Realme 7i has four rear sensors featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens, 2-megapixel monochrome lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies there's a 16-megapixel camera up front.

Realme 7i packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. On the software front, Realme 7i runs Realme UI based on Android 10. Its connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. It has a rear fingerprint sensor along with support for face unlock.

In India, there's the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro. There's no word yet on whether the Realme 7i will make its way to India.
