Samsung Galaxy M51 to launch in India on September 10, all you need to know

Samsung has been teasing the India launch of Galaxy M51 for quite some time. It has now revealed the launch date for its new Galaxy M phone. The launch date reveal also comes shortly after Samsung debuted the Galaxy M51 in Germany.

The Amazon India teaser for Galaxy M51 has been updated with the launch date which is September 10. The launch event is scheduled to start at 12 noon, and it will be a virtual one. Interested users can also click on the “notify me” button to get the latest updates on Galaxy M51. With the specs of the phone already out, now all that remains is the pricing of the Galaxy M51. In Germany, Galaxy M51 is priced at 360 euros which translates to roughly ₹31,400. The smartphone will reportedly cost between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000 in India.

The highlight of the Galaxy M51 is its massive 7,000mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with support for 25W fast charging speed. It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED+ display with an Infinity-O cutout. Galaxy M51 is powered by an octa-core processor which hasn't been revealed yet. But it's confirmed that the chipset will be from Qualcomm.

Galaxy M51 comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. There's only one variant for the Galaxy M51 but Samsung could launch more variants in India. It also supports expandable storage up to 512GB via a microSD card.

For photography, Galaxy M51 comes with a quad-camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. There's a 32-megapixel punch-hole camera for selfies.

The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor like the Galaxy M31s. It also comes with 4G LTE support, dual SIM support, USB Type-C port and Samsung Knox. Galaxy M51 has two colour options of black and white.
