Tecno on Tuesday announced the launch of the Spark 7 Pro smartphone in India. The latest addition to the Spark 7 series comes in two versions – 4+64GB and 6+64GB. The two models are available for special launch offer prices at ₹9,999 and ₹10,999. The Spark 7 Pro comes in Alps Blue, Spruce Green and Magnet Black colour options.

Tecno Spark 7 Pro comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ Dot in IPS display with HD+ resolution, 89% screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. For performance, the handset relies on the MediaTek Helio G80 processor with up to 6GB of RAM. The phone comes with 64GB of built-in storage.

The handset has a 5,000mAh battery, which is said to deliver up to 34 days of standby time, 35 hours of calling time, 14 hours of web browsing, 7 days music playback, 15 hours of game playing, and 23 hours of video playback. The phone also has battery saving features such as AI power-saving mode. There is also a full charge alert, which automatically cuts the power when the phone is fully charged to help avoid overcharging.

Tecno Spark 7 Pro comes with a 48-megapixel triple rear camera. On the front, it houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and a dual adjustable flashlight.

“The AI portrait mode on the smartphone enhances the 8MP front camera to capture sharp, professional-grade images. The SPARK 7 Pro is the first-ever in the SPARK series to offer eye-tracking autofocus, smile shot and time-lapse, empowering users to capture the perfect shot. It also comes with other professional modes like Time-lapse, Smile-shot, Super Night Shot, Video Bokeh and 2K recording to enhance the selfie experience,” the company said in a release.

Other key features of the Spark 7 Pro are Face Unlock 2.0 and fingerprint sensor. The company says the Face Unlock 2.0 enables closed eye protection and screen fill-in light. The fingerprint sensor can unlock the phone in just 0.12 seconds, says the company.
