Vivo launches the V23 and V23 Pro in India. Vivo says these phones change colours under the Sun!

Vivo has launched the V23 and V23 Pro in India through a virtual interactive launch event. The Vivo V23 and V23 Pro are India's first colour changing smartphones; Yes, these change colours once exposed to the Sun! The Vivo V23 starts at ₹29,990 whereas the V23 Pro has breached the ₹30,000 mark. There will be two colour variants available at launch, and two storage variants as well. Vivo V23, V23 Pro price in India

Vivo has unleashed the price of its V23 and V23 Pro during its launch event. As per the listing, the Vivo V23 base 8GB+128GB storage variant will come at just ₹29,990, while its 12GB+256GB variant will cost ₹34,990. On the other hand, the 8GB+128GB storage variant of Vivo V23 Pro will be priced at ₹38,990 and 12GB+256GB storage variants cost ₹43,990.

Notably, the company is giving several offers and discounts on both the smartphones. The users will get upto 10 percent cashback along with no cost EMI options, 6 months complete mobile damage protection and much more on purchasing from offline stores or vivo.com. However, e-commerce portal Flipkart is offering instant cashback of upto ₹3000 along with other above mentioned benefits.

Vivo V23, V23 Pro availability in India

The phones are available for pre-booking from today onwards. The Vivo V23 will be available for sale from January 13, 2022, and Vivo V23 Pro will be available from January 19, 2022.

Vivo V23, V23 Pro specifications and features

Both smartphones come with some interesting specifications and features like a colour changing rear panel which contains fuller crystals, better light reflection and sparkle compared to AG matte glass. The smartphone will be available in two colours: Stardust Black and Sunshine Gold. However, the colour-changing effect will only be available on the Sunshine Gold colour.

Vivo V23 and V23 Pro will come with a 50MP Eye AF front-facing camera, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera with Night Mode. Additionally, Vivo V23 and V23 Pro will also support a dual-tone front-facing LED flashlight that will offer three light modes, namely Cold Light, Neutral Light and Warm Light.

The Pro model will come with a 108MP triple camera setup with smart ISO, V23 will have a 64MP triple rear camera setup paired with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP super macro sensor. While V23 will come with Dimensity 920 SoC, the Vivo V23 Pro is said to come with a 6.5-inch 3D curved FHD+ AMOLED display, with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC.
