Xiaomi Redmi K30i 5G with Snapdragon 765G, 120Hz display launched in China: Price, specs and more

There's a new Redmi K30 smartphone in the market by Xiaomi. The firm has launched the Redmi K30i 5G in its home town China as a mid-range device. It is said to arrive in just one RAM and storage variant at 1,999 Yuan (roughly ₹21,300). You can get this smartphone in four colour variants in China - blue, red, purple and white.
The Redmi K30i has a 6.67-inch dual punch hold display with FHD+ (2400x1080 pixels) resolution and 120Hz refresh rate along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and HDR10 support. Powering it is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor that supports 5G connectivity and was launched alongside the Snapdragon 865 in December last year. It is made using a 7nm process and has Adreno 620 GPU onboard. In addition, you get 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage (UFS 2.1).

For photography, the Redmi K30i has a 48-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.79 aperture and 1/1/2inch sensor size. This comes along with an 8-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide lens, 5-megapixel super macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth of field lens. At the front, there is a 20-megapixel primary camera along with a 2-megapixel portrait lens.
Running MIUI 11, the smartphone is backed by a 4500mAh battery with standard 30W fast charging tech. It is not for sure when or if the Redmi K30i will ever hit the Indian shelves.
The launch of a new Redmi smartphone in China comes right after the firm introduced its new TV soundbar in the country. Called Redmi TV soundbar, it is priced at 199 Yuan ( ₹2,120 approximately). Xiaomi's Redmi has also been teasing the launch of a Redmi X TV in China.
