Microsoft Windows 11 has undergone a number of changes. The changes that have been made to Windows 11 are the result of a huge number of people downloading Windows 11 and then putting it through its paces via the Windows Insider programme. It is a journey of fun and adventure and when bugs or glitches are encountered it provides an opportunity to report it. Now, Microsoft is saying that it has already rolled out a huge number of fixes to Windows 11 and this includes issues that caused crashes, affected the Taskbar and the clock, display of icons, lunar calendar and many more.

Here we have listed all the Windows 11 fixes to the Taskbar that have been rolled out by Microsoft:

1. The issue that was causing Explorer.exe to crash when the date and time button on the Taskbar is clicked to access new notifications with Focus Assist turned off has been fixed.

2. The missing settings icons for the context menu entries when right clicking network, volume, and battery in the Taskbar has been added.

3. The issue that was making the clock in the Taskbar get stuck and out of sync has been fixed.

4. Addressed an explorer.exe crash that could happen after resuming from standby, related to the volume icon in the Taskbar.

5. Addressed an issue where the progress bar below app icons in the Taskbar was not displaying in some cases.

6. If you tap Taskbar icons using touch you should now see the same icon animation that was visible when using the mouse.

7. The lunar calendar (when enabled) text should no longer overlap the numbers in the Taskbar calendar flyout.

8. The calendar flyout will now show the correct month when in a collapsed state.

9. The date at the top of the calendar flyout should now follow your preferred format and not the format matching your display language.

10. If the Start menu is open, when hovering over Task View the window will now appear above Start menu instead of behind it.

11. An issue that, if you click on a snap group in the Taskbar, may not bring up all the app windows after docking and undocking has been fixed.

12. The icons used for the On / Off indicators in the Taskbar for the Pinyin IME are now a consistent size.

13. Signing out and back in when battery saver is running should no longer result in Taskbar becoming transparent.

14. An issue making the network icon sometimes unexpectedly not show in the Taskbar has been 'mitigated'.

15. The Taskbar previews will no longer draw offscreen after upgrading to this build.

In some more good news, Windows Insider Twitter handle has posted this message, "Beta Channel - You're up! #Windows11 preview build 22000.100 is now available to #WindowsInsiders in the Beta Channel." This indicates that the first preview build of Windows 11 has been made available on the Beta channel and that users can make the switch to this much more stable version than the wild Dev channel.
