OnePlus 6 India launch: Idea announces exclusive offers for new OnePlus flagship

Ahead of OnePlus 6 launch in India on May 16, Idea Cellular has announced a set of exclusive offers with the new OnePlus flagsghip phone. The operator is offering ₹ 2,000 cashback as monthly discount of ₹ 100 for 20 billing cycles with 50GB of monthly data. The operator is also offering free movies, music and games on Digital Idea apps; Device security and other benefits on Nirvana 499 plan for Idea Postpaid customers. The operator is also offering up to 370 GB additional data on ₹ 199 recharge for Idea prepaid customers. Idea also announced that VoLTE support for OnePlus 6 will be launched soon.

OnePlus' latest flagship phone OnePlus 6 is all set to launch in London on May 16. The smartphone will be officially launched in India next day with the first sale taking place on May 21 via Amazon India. Ahead of the official India launch, OnePlus has announced new offers on OnePlus 6 which can be availed starting May 21.

OnePlus 6 will be available for purchase exclusively via e-commerce platform Amazon India. The smartphone will also sell on OnePlus' online store, OnePlus experience store and other offline stores. OnePlus will also host pop-up events across eight cities in India.

In partnership with SBI its debit and credit card holders can avail a discount of ₹2,000 on purchasing the OnePlus 6 made during the first week. OnePlus is also offering no cost EMI options for up to three months on popular banks.

There's a Servify accidental damage insurance on OnePlus 6 for a period of 12 months. Idea Cellular users will get ₹2,000 cashback and insurance on the smartphone. Amazon Prime Video users will get gift cards worth ₹250, while discounts up to ₹500 can be availed on Amazon Kindle. Lastly, OnePlus 6 buyers will be able to avail benefits up to ₹25,000 on flight and hotel books made via ClearTrip.

OnePlus 6 pre-booking

OnePlus has already opened pre-booking orders for OnePlus 6 on Amazon India from May 13 till May 16. Those who pre-book the device during this 'Fast AF Sale' can avail a cashback of ₹1,000 and extended warranty of three months. Interested customers will have to purchase an Amazon e-gift card for OnePlus 6 worth ₹1,000.

During the sale on May 21 (Amazon Prime members only) and May 22, the gift card can be used against the final payment of OnePlus 6. The cashback will be credited to the user's Amazon Pay balance account latest by May 25. OnePlus 6 extended warranty will be applicable by June 30.

OnePlus 6 specifications

OnePlus 6 will feature an iPhone X-like notch display along with a glass back. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor and offered with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. OnePlus 6 is expected to also come with 6GB of RAM and storage options of 64GB and 128GB. It could be fuelled by a 3,450mAh battery, and run on Android 8.1 Oreo with OxygenOS on top.
