Paytm now allows you to track Live Train Status and all other related journey details. (Mint_Print)

Paytm has been adding a bunch of new features, all of them enhancing convenience features on the platform. For train travellers, Paytm offers the ability to book train tickets and now, it has expanded the related features. On Paytm, travellers will now be able to track the PNR status of their journey. Additionally, one can now use the Paytm app to track the train running status directly, thereby avoiding relying on websites to do the same.

Users will need to update the app to the latest version on both Android and iOS platforms. Once updated, you can scroll through the list to find these features listed. The easier way, however, is to use the Search function within the app to find the features; the Paytm app has lots of features listed inside.

Paytm Live Train Status, PNR Status tracking announced

For those who are interested in tracking the Live Train Status, the process is easy.

- Go to the Paytm app and search for Train Status.

-The Paytm Travel section opens up, allowing you to track train, bus, flights and more.

- You need to choose “trains” option . Here, you will get the option to track PNR Status, Live Train Status, Train Calendar, and Ordering food online.

- You can input the train number and tap on Search function.

- Once you put in the information, the app will show all the journey details, including upcoming station, last passed station, time left to journey, platform details, arrival and departure times, and expected arrival times.

- Similarly, you can input your PNR number to check the status of your ticket booking.

-You can also check the Train Calendar, wherein you will be able to see the days of running in a week, and the availability of seats across all classes.

Paytm says that one can book in over 10 languages like Hindi, Bangla, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia and more. The company says there are no additional charges or hidden costs. Paytm also says that customers can avail the senior citizen quota, which means male travellers aged 60 or above, and female travellers aged 45 and above, can book lower berth tickets. All payments will be initiated via UPI, and they come with Zero Payment Gateway (PG) charges.
