During the Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2022, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, announced the launch of Jio Air Fiber, a simple plug-and-play device to deliver ultra-high 5G speed connectivity over the air without any wires. It can be placed at home or you may even carry it to your office. The new 5G portable device by Reliance Jio was showcased during the AGM 2022. However, there is still a lot of information that needs to be revealed in the future. Here's everything that we know about the Reliance Jio Air Fiber 5G hotspot device.

Jio Air Fiber: Everything that we know so far

1. About the Jio Air Fiber device: As presented during the Reliance AGM 2022, it is a plug-and-play device that offers a 5G hotspot to your system. It will provide access to high-speed Fiber-like connectivity for multiple use cases.
2. Use of Jio Air Fiber: Jio Air Fiber can be used in multiple use cases. As mentioned by the Jio Chairman during the Reliance AGM, it would be able to stream several camera angles of a sporting event as well as would be beneficial for multiplayer cloud gaming due to its low latency on 5G.
3. How is Jio Air Fiber different from Jio Fiber? The Jio Fiber is limited to a particular area of the installation of the modem, while you can carry the Jio Air Fiber, wherever you want to.
4. When Jio Air Fiber will be launched? Unfortunately, we just had a brief glimpse of this new 5G device. When it will be launched in India, is still unknown. However, Jio plans the roll-out of the 5G services in India to some selected cities by Diwali this year. Therefore, the Jio Air Fiber is expected to launch post-Diwali festive season.
5. Jio Air Fiber Price: Just like the official launch date, the company has made no mention of the Jio Air Fiber price. However, the 91Mobiles report has predicted that Jio the Air Fiber price will remain more or less the same as the existing Jio Fiber plans.
