Samsung is not just trying to get an upper hand in the budget smartphone market with recent launches, it is also bringing a useful accessory to India – the UV Sterilizer. Priced at ₹3,599, the device, as the name suggests, cleans the product kept inside of it so the bacteria and germs don't spread – something that is vital in order to curb the pandemic. The device also has an inbuilt 10W wireless charger for smartphones and accessories. Any product with Qi-compatible wireless charging can be charged.

The South Korean tech firm claims that it can kill up to 99% of the bacteria and germs that includes E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans. Th product is manufactured by Samsung C&T, a partner of the Samsung Mobile Accessory Partnership Program (SMAPP) and can store essential items and even bigger smartphones like Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note10+, among others. It even comes with dual UV lights that sterilize both top and bottom surface of items that are placed inside.

There's a single button to switch on/off the device. The steriliser also switches off after 10 minutes and weighs 369 grams.
