The first Ola Electric car to launch on August 15, reveals CEO Bhavish Aggarwal

The first Ola electric car launch is likely on August 15, which is the Independence Day. Here is what CEO Bhavish Aggarwal informs.

Ola Electric is likely to launch a new product. The first Ola electric car launch is now expected on August 15, which is also the Independence Day. Bhavish Aggarwal, founder and CEO of the company will also share future plans of the company on that day. It can be noted that the time at which the livestream will start and link for the same have not yet been revealed, but will be shared soon. Ola Electric has been trying to hype up the launch by offering tantalising glimpses of its upcoming electric four-wheeler.

Ola Electric has been teasing its four-wheeler electric car for a while now and expectations are high, especially after the launch of its electric scooter.

Along with the launch of the new product and announcement of future plans, Bhavish has also shared a small 10-second video showing Ola e-scooters and asking people to stay tuned.

Ola had in the month of June 2022 teased the device for the first time during the Ola Customer Day at its FutureFactory. Ola Electric has also shared a teaser video of the same showing sleek LED DRLs with Red hues. The video also gave a glimpse of the front and rear design of the car with the Ola logo on both sides. The video can be accessed on the official YouTube channel of Ola Electric.

From the teaser of Ola's electric car, it can be seen that the car is in red colour and looks futuristic. The car gets two U-shaped LED headlamps with an LED light bar in the centre and the front fascia is likely to carry a faux grille. You will also see OLA written right at the centre, just below the LED light bar. The rear of the car features slim LED lights running across the width of the car.

Also, according to a report by Live Mint, Ola's first electric car is likely to be a low-slung, wide car with a coupe-like roofline. The upcoming vehicle is also rumoured to be a 4-door sedan with a long battery set. It can be known that Ola currently retails two electric scooters in India namely Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro.
