Apple is expected to showcase the upcoming iOS 9, which is set to offer new apps and, most notably, highly anticipated changes with regards to music: along with a newly re-designed dedicated app, the company is widely rumored to be creating an integrated music streaming service, in collaboration with Beats, to take on Spotify. The highlight of last year's conference was the ever-growing convergence of Mac OS X and iOS, especially the ability to make phone calls from your Mac and to transfer documents more easily between any Apple products, taking interoperability between Apple smartphones, tablets and computers to an unprecedented level. Apple also introduced an updated version of its remote storage service, now called iCloud Drive, allowing the company to better compete with similar services like Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive and even Dropbox.

The conference can be live-streamed from its dedicated website.
