So you've got a spanking new computer with Windows 10, but you're itching to try out an older version of Windows. We know, we know, we're suckers for nostalgia too. The good news is that it's not too hard to do.

The simple solution is to head over to a browser. A programmer who goes by the name of Andrea Faulds has created a website that is designed to simulate Windows 95. The programmer created the website using the DOSBox emulator to allow the older version of Windows to run and combined the DosBox code into JavaScript so that the Windows can be supported on a browser.

This is just going to be a trip back memory lane as the experience will not be as smooth on the browser as it would have been on a PC. Some applications and the in-built browser may crash several times but it is sweet to hear the old Windows sign in sound and also fun to play around with the operating system.

However, the clock might be ticking on the website as Faulds is violating copyrights owned by Microsoft. But here is something to cheer you up as this will indeed take you back memory lane if you are a Friends lover.
