The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 has already been launched in China and it should come to India soon. In the meanwhile though the Mi Band 5 Pro has already been spotted in some leaks.

Yet to make its global debut in any form, the next fitness band from Xiaomi is expected to be launched in China first and then hit other other countries. Proof of its existence was spotted on the Mi Fit app and here's what we know about it so far.

A screenshot shared by GeekGoing shows the Xiaomi Mi Fit app where there's a code name - ‘Kongming Pro'. The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is called Kongming in China and ‘York' globally. The NFC model of the Mi Band 5 is called Kongming L. Therefore, Kongming Pro is the Mi Band 5 Pro, putting the two and two together.

The shared screenshot does not have any more information about the device besides this bit. There is confirmation, however, that the Xiaomi Mi Band Pro will come with NFC support since there is a transit card option visible.

Xiaomi has not confirmed the launch of the Mi Band 5 Pro yet, but given the Mi Band 5 is out and also about to launch in India soon, this too should not be too far off.

The Mi Band 5 is going to launch with a 1.1-inch AMOLED display, the NFC version will have 14-days of battery life while the standard version should give you about 20 days on a single charge.
