Amazfit GTR 2 with 14-day battery life launched in India

Amazfit GTR 2 comes with over 90 sports modes, and health features such as heart rate, stress and sleep monitoring.

Amazfit today launched a new smartwatch in India. Amazfit GTR 2 features a round dial, and it comes in sport and classic editions. Amazfit has the GTS 2 and GTS 2 mini launches planned for India as well.

Amazfit GTR 2 is priced at 12,999 for the sport edition, and 13,499 for the classic edition. The smartwatch is available on Flipkart, and you can purchase it starting today. Amazfit had started pre-orders for the GTR 2 last week in India. The classic edition of Amazfit GTR 2 has a black leather strap and stainless steel casing. The sport edition features a black leather strap with an aluminum alloy casing.

Amazfit GTR 2 features a 1.39-inch AMOLED HD display with 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. The smartwatch has a 471mAh battery that is claimed to last for 14 days on typical usage. On basic usage with power saver turned on, the Amazfit GTR 2 should last for 38 days. The smartwatch takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge, the company said.

Amazfit GTR 2 has over 90 built-in sports modes. It also offers 24-hour heart rate monitoring, blood-oxygen measuring, and stress level monitoring. The smartwatch can also measure sleep quality, sleep stages like REM and even daytime naps. Amazfit GTR 2 is also 5 ATM water resistant up to 50 meters. The smartwatch has 3GB of storage of up to 600 music files.

Like other Amazfit smartwatches, the GTR 2 is compatible with the Zepp app. It works with phones running Android 5.0 and above, and iOS 10 and above.
