In a bid to promote its latest Surface Pro 7 laptop, Microsoft has uploaded a new video on YouTube comparing its 2-in-1 with arch rival from Apple, the MacBook Pro. The short video doesn't go in detail as to which one has more features, and which performs better. But it does show a few plus points of the Surface Pro 7 over the MacBook Pro.
The video starts by talking about the Surface Pro 7’s touchscreen and the support for the stylus pen that is good for creators and note taking. On the other hand, the person in the video says that the Touch Bar in MacBook Pro is not as easy to use. “Why can't they give me a whole touchscreen” says the person in the video.
In terms of design, the Surface Pro 7 is touted for its detachable keyboard, as one can even use it as a tablet while on the go. However, this is not the case with the Apple MacBook Pro as it is a full-fledged laptop and you will have to carry the entire package even when you're traveling.
The video also talks about the power of the devices. The person says that Microsoft Surface Pro 7 can run all your favorite apps and most of the games as well. However, this might not be possible in the MacBook Pro which runs on macOS. Lastly, the video compares the prices of both Surface Pro 7 and MacBook Pro.
Needless to say, the Surface Pro 7 wins here with a more affordable $890 price tag as compared to the rival’s $1,300 price tag. The description of the video also talks about the versatility of the product. “Only Surface Pro seven has the versatility and portability of both a tablet and a laptop. With features like touchscreen, detachable keyboard and pen, and enough power to run your favorite apps, you can work or play from anywhere. Microsoft Surface Pro seven has everything you need to do what you love.”
