Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite appears on TENAA, key features revealed

Samsung may soon launch a new version of its popular Galaxy Tab A7 tablet. The new device will be aimed at the budget segment as it is being dubbed as the Tab A7 Lite. Ahead of the official launch, the tablet has made an appearance on the TENAA certification website.

According to Gizmochina, Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite looks identical to the main version. The back has a small camera array at the top left corner. The listing also confirms the availability of the device in at least two colours, black and blue.

Older leaks reveal Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will come with an 8.4-inch LCD panel. The device is said to run on MediaTek’s Helio P22T processor. It will also come with 3GB of RAM. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery and run on the Android 11 operating system.

Recent certification listings confirm the Tab A7 Lite will have Bluetooth 5.0. The device will be available in multiple variants, Wi-Fi, 4G, and 5G. Apart from black and blue colours, you can also expect the device to come in pink and green options.

That said, Samsung recently announced discounts on the purchase of Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, Tab A7, Tab S7, Tab S7+ for students. On the Galaxy Tab A7, the company is offering a Book Cover at a discounted price of ₹999. HDFC Bank Credit and Debit card users will get an additional cashback of ₹2,000 on the purchase of the device.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 had launched in India for a starting price of ₹17,999. The device comes with a 10.4-inch QVGA+ display. It packs a 7,000mAh battery.
