Vaio on Wednesday launched a new laptop in India. The Vaio Z laptop, which is being touted as the world’s first 3D moulded carbon fiber laptop, is available for purchase in India exclusively via Amazon India. It costs ₹3,52,990 in the country.
Coming to the features, the Vaio Z laptop features a carbon-fiber chassis, which the company says makes this laptop exceptionally tough, slim and light. For reference, the newly launched laptop weighs 1.06Kgs and measures 320.4x220.8x12.2mm.
As far as the tech specifications are concerned, the Vaio Z laptop features a 14-inch ultra HD 4K display with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. It has a 2MP Hello camera on top. It is powered by the 11th generation Intel core i7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics. It offers 32GB LPDDR4x RAM that is coupled with 2TB PCle NVMe SSD Gen 4 storage. It runs on Windows 10 Pro and it comes with a 53Wh battery that claims to offer up to 10 hours of run time.
As far as connectivity is concerned, it comes with an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, two USB Type-C ports, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB power delivery port, and a display port among others. Additionally, it features support for Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 4.1.
Other features include Dolby Audio speakers, a fingerprint sensor, and a backlit keyboard.
