Huawei's Honor brand has unveil the Honor 5X and Holly 2 Plus for ₹ 12,999 and ₹ 8,499 respectively. The full metal body smartphone (5X) is expected to compete with phone like LeEco Le 1S, Lenovo K4 Note and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.
In terms of specifications, the Honor 5x has a fingerprint sensor, a 13-megapixel rear camera with SmartImage processor, a 5-megapixel front shooter and a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor. The 5X, which supports dual 4G-LTE SIMs, has a 5.5-inch display and draws power from a 3,000 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 2.0.
The Holly 2 Plus sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megpixel front camera. It also has two 4G-LTE SIM slots and 4,000 mAh battery. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop on a 5-inch HD 720p display and powered by a 64-bit MediaTek processor and 2GB of RAM.
Both the phones will be sold on Flipkart and Amazon India. The Honor 5X's is up for pre-order while sales begin on February 1. The Honor Holly 2 Plus on the other hand will be sold from February 15.
Honor is also throwing in 15 months warranty and free screen replacement for any damages within 1 month of purchase. Also, rooting the phone will not void the warranty.
