LG has launched a sanitizer for your clothes and it costs just 1.60L

Santising homes and hands isn’t enough these days. We also need to sanitise our clothes. But this is a task easier said than done. Sure, we have washing machines some of which even have the ability to wash clothes using warm water, but washing clothes every time isn’t great for clothes. Enter: LG Styler.

LG India today launched the LG Styler in India. It is a device that sanitises, steams and deodorises clothes. It also reduces the wrinkles in the clothes, thus saving multiple trips to the dry cleaners especially in case of the delicate clothes that need extra care.

The LG Styler comes with LG’s TrueSteam technology, which the company says eliminates over 99.9 percent of viruses, bacterias and allergens. It also comes with the company’s ThinQ technology, which enables users to operate it remotely using Wi-Fi connectivity. LG says that users can select the programs and monitor energy consumption and time and download up to 20 more programs depending upon type of fabric and cloth to refresh, dry or sanitise the clothes.

So, how does it work?

Well, the answer to this question is really simple. All you have to do is place your clothes inside the Styler, select the fabric of clothes, like cotton, linen, wool, silk, rayon, polyester, nylon, denim, and select the cycle, which includes Refresh, Santise and Gentle Dry. You can hang up to four items -- three hangers and a pant -- and you are good to go.

Once you make all the changes all you have to do is wait for the cycle to finish and clothes to come out, which can be anywhere between 20 minutes to 150 minutes depending on the cycle. For example, the refresh cycle can take anywhere from 20 to 67 minutes, while the sanitary cycle can take anywhere from 88 to 103 minutes. Similarly, the gentle dry cycle can take anywhere from 58 to 150 minutes.

The LG Styler is priced at ₹1,60,000, it will be available in India via all leading offline and online partners and LG Brand stores.
