Synaptics Inc has introduced Fuse, a collaborative mobile phone concept. For the first time, multi-touch capacitive sensing, haptic feedback, 3-D graphics and force, grip, and proximity sensing have been integrated in a phone, besides 2D navigation from the back of the phone. Fuse is a collaboration between Synaptics, The Alloy, The Astonishing Tribe (TAT), Immersion, and Texas Instruments Inc (TI).
