Epic Games sues Google and Apple

Fortnite maker Epic Games has sued both Apple and Google for removing Fortnite from their app stores on Thursday. Apple and Google pulled the game from the App Store and Play Store after the company began offering customers a way to directly buy items for Fortnite so as they could circumvent the fees.

Google’s next-generation Wear OS details revealed

Google has revealed that the next update to Wear OS will be based on Android 11 and that it will be focused on fundamentals’ like performance and power.

Aarogya Setu iOS version gets open-sourced

NITI Aayog today announced that Aarogya Setu’s iOS version has been open-sourced. This will allow interested developers to inspect and modify it for their own iOS apps.

Realme C12 launched

Realme today launched the Realme C12 in Indonesia for IDR 1,899,000 ( ₹9,600 approx). It will arrive in India on August 18.

Instagram kept deleted photos on its servers for more than a year

Security researcher Saugat Pokharel revealed that Instagram did not delete images and messages from its servers that had been deleted over a year ago. Instagram later revealed that it was owing to a bug that had been fixed now. Pokharel was rewarded $6,000 ( ₹4.49 lakhs approx) bug bounty for highlighting the issue.
