WhatsApp Business app gets new features
WhatsApp has expanded its offerings for business users and has added a few handy features that make the shopping experience better. These new features include better support for WhatsApp catalogs on desktops and the option to hide items that are out of stock.
Govt approves PLI scheme for PV module, white goods
The Union Government today approved the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme to boost the production of the solar PV (photo-voltaic) modules and white goods, which includes air conditioners and LED lights in India. The government approved a budgetary outlay of ₹4,500 crore for PV module and a budgetary outlay of ₹6,238 crore for white goods.
Google I/O 2021 dates announced
Google today announced the dates for its version of developers' conference, Google IO 2021. The conference, where we see the new Android version being officially launched and showcased, will be held from May 18 through May 20.
Airtel IoT launched
Bharti Airtel today announced the launch of an Internet of Things (IoT)-focused platform. Called Airtel IoT, the platform will be available for enterprises in the country.
Spotify announces new podcasts for Indian listeners
Spotify today announced four new podcasts from India. The new lineup features four new Spotify Originals including Darr Ka Raaz with Dr Phobia, The RJ Balaji Podcast, Andar Ki Baat by Amit Tandon, and Crime Kahaniyan.
