This week in tech started with a smartphone launch by Realme which was followed by another phone launch. It then moved to something lighter like Spotify India's stats and even funnier with Tim Cook 'trumping' Trump. The week also witnessed a big reveal for OnePlus' upcoming flagship smartphone, OnePlus 7.

Realme 3 launch

Realme's latest budget smartphone launched with a starting price tag of ₹8,999. Realme 3 also comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage priced at ₹10,999. The smartphone comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ display, Helio P70 chipset, dual rear cameras and a 13-megapixel selfie camera. Realme 3 packs a 4,200mAh battery, and runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie.

Oppo F11 Pro launch

Oppo launched its first 48-megapixel camera phone in India. Oppo F11 Pro comes with a price tag of ₹24,990, and offers a 25-megapixel pop-up selfie camera as well. It comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display, Helio P70 chipset, and a 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

Oppo also launched the F11 smartphone which is similar to its pro version. It however comes with a waterdrop styled notch, bigger 128GB of storage and slightly bigger 4,020mAh battery. Oppo F11 will be available at ₹19,990.

Spotify India 1 million users

In less than a week of its launch, Spotify India said it garnered 1 million unique listeners. Spotify India's 1 million user base ranges across its free and premium services. Spotify India is offering a one month trial version of its service with monthly payment of ₹119. It also offers top-up plans starting at ₹13 per day, and recharge options like Paytm and UPI.

Spotify also shared stats on what Indians are listening to with artists like Ariana Grande, BTS and Arijit Singh topping the list.

Apple CEO Tim Cook becomes Tim Apple

In a hilarious turn of events, Apple CEO Tim Cook changed his Twitter username to "Tim Apple" with the Apple logo. US President Donald Trump had referred Tim Cook as "Tim Apple" at a White House meeting. Following this slip of the lip, Cook replaced his last name on Twitter with the Apple logo. The Apple logo is however visible only on the company's devices.

OnePlus 7 full specs revealed

We're weeks or even months away from the launch of OnePlus 7. However the smartphone shows up quite often in different leaks. The biggest one so far was the full specifications of OnePlus 7 listed on a website called Giztop. The listing also revealed OnePlus 7's supposed design which is a notch-less display.

In terms of specs, OnePlus 7 has a 6.5-inch AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. It also comes with a triple-camera setup, and a 4,000mAh battery with a big 44W fast charger.
