Xiaomi has just launched the Mi Human Body Sensor 2 in China and it will be available through a crowdfunding campaign. The compact Mi Human Body Sensor 2 tracks movements and triggers corresponding actions and comes with motion detection, the ability to detect light and darkness and also intelligent linkage.
The Mi Human Body Sensor 2 works with the Mijia app and can cover a 130-degree wide range to pick up movements within a maximum distance of seven metres.
As per a Gizmochina report, the Mi Human Body Sensor 2 is priced at CNY 49, which is ₹550 approximately and is available through a crowdfunding campaign that will be starting from December 2.
The Mi Human Body Sensor 2 is available in a single white colour option and will only be sold in China for now. Xiaomi has not mentioned anything about it being available on other markets yet.
The movements that the Mi Human Body Sensor 2 tracks to trigger certain actions can be set by the user on the Mijia app. The sensor can be placed anywhere and it connects with other smart home devices. So you can set it up with your smart lights and smart plugs etc to trigger connected devices with simple actions.

The Mi Human Body Sensor 2 can also be used to trigger a smart camera and make it start recording and push the footage to the Mijia app.
Xiaomi says that the Mi Human Body Sensor 2 can last up to a year on the battery it comes with and will also notify the user when battery levels drop and need to be changed.
The company has also said that even if the Mi Human Body Sensor 2 is facing direct sunlight or is in the dark, it still will not have any issues with detecting movement.
The Mi Human Body Sensor 2 needs to be used with the Mijia app and the app can provide data about the battery status on the sensor, product logs, Bluetooth signal strength etc.
