Web media editor: When you’re collaborating, you actively move between your phone and your computer. But if you wanted to edit an image that you’re sending you previously couldn’t do that on WhatsApp web and would have to go back to your phone. To help improve this situation, WhatsApp recently added a Media Editor feature to its web-based interface called WhatsApp Web. This feature enables WhatsApp users to edit images on users’ computers like they do in case of the company’s Android and iOS-based apps.

Link Previews: People often share links on WhatsApp in order to share content with their family and friends. WhatsApp’s Link Previews feature enables WhatsApp users to see previews of links so that they have more context about what they have shared and what they are about to see or read.

Sticker Suggestions: Apart from the above-mentioned features, WhatsApp has also made finding the right sticker on its platform faster and easier. With contextual stickers, users will now be prompted sticker suggestions as they type, which in turn will enable them to find the right sticker for the ongoing conversation.

Payment Stickers: WhatsApp has also added Payment Stickers to its platform. These stickers have been created in collaboration with five women artists in India and they help users add context to money transfers. Essentially, this will help users in distinguishing between payments and money transferred on occasions among others.
