itel launches G-series Android TVs in India, prices start at ₹16,999

itel on Thursday announced the expansion of its TV product portfolio with the launch of G-series Android TVs in India. The new lineup features as many as four new televisions.

The TVs are available in multiple screen sizes, starting from 32-inch to 55-inch. The base model has HD resolution, while the top-end model offers 4K UHD resolution. TVs are available for a starting price of ₹16,999.

First is the G3230IE. The smart TV has a 32-inch HD display with 400 nits of brightness and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. The TV runs on Android 9.0 and comes with Google Play Store access. There is also Google Assistant and built-in Chromecast support. The device has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. It also comes with Dolby Audio and two 12W speakers.

Next is the G4330IE. The model has a 43-inch display with full HD resolution, 400 nits of brightness, and a 4000:1 contrast ratio. The TV also has Android 9.0 and comes with Google Play Store access. There is also Google Assistant and built-in Chromecast support. The device has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. It also features Dolby Audio and dual 12W speakers.

The G4334IE variant comes with a 43-inch display but with 4K UHD resolution, 400 nits of brightness, and a 1300:1 contrast ratio. On the software front, it runs on Android 10.0 and comes with Google Play Store access. There is also Google Assistant and built-in Chromecast support. The device has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. It also comes with Dolby Audio and two 12W speakers.

The top-end model in the lineup is G5534IE, which has a 53-inch screen with a 4K UHD resolution. It also has 400 nits of brightness and a 1200:1 contrast ratio. Like the previous model, it also runs Android 10.0 and comes with Google Play Store access. There is also Google Assistant and built-in Chromecast support. The device has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. It also has Dolby Audio and two 12W speakers.

Common features of the TVs are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Tuner, HDMI x 2, USB x 1, and Bluetooth remote control with voice control.

“The entire itel G-series range features Google Assistant, so users can use their voice to quickly search 400,000+ movies and shows, get recommendations to match their mood, control smart home devices, and more. With Chromecast-built in, users can easily cast favourite movies, music, and more to their TV. 5000+ apps are included, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Zee5, Disney+, Hotstar, YouTube, etc,” said the company in a release.
