Meanwhile, Sony has unveiled its next-generation PS5 VR controllers. These are built using the same adaptive trigger technology that is available in the company's DualSense wireless controller.

The newly launched PS5 VR controllers feature an orb-shaped design, which as per the company offers a higher degree of freedom to the players. Each VR controller comes with an adaptive trigger button that adds tension when pressed. In addition to this, the newly introduced VR controllers come with haptic feedback, which Sony says has been optimised for its form factor.

These VR controllers will not be available for sale anytime soon. Instead, Nishino says that they ‘will be in the hands of the development community soon.'
