Know how to use it. (HT Tech) ![Author Photo](https://images.hindustantimes.com/tech/static/revamp/images/png/HTTech-new-circle-logo.png) ### By HT TECH The government had launched the One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) scheme to provide better facilities to the public for accessing rations and this is applicable even if they migrate from one place to another for livelihood. This makes ration services flexible for all the ration cardholders while using a single card. Well, what makes the services even more user friendly is the 'Mera Ration Service' on Umang App for Android users. UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is basically developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) to operate Mobile Governance in India. UMANG works as a single platform for all Indian Citizens to access pan India e-Government services ranging from Central to Local Government bodies. Similarly, Umang App can help ration cardholders get all the related information that they are seeking on their smartphone. Ration cardholders won't have to worry to bring the information about the nearest fair price shops as the Umang app provides that in one place. Not just that, but the amount of ration that ration services beneficiaries are eligible for, all can be obtained via the Umang app. Users can check their ration card details, commodity balance, last 6 months' transaction details and Nearest Fair Price Shops, and more. Also read click here. ### About the Mera Ration app The easiest way to get all the information is through the dedicated app to the Mera Ration services on Google Play Store.
