Forget iPhone 13, iPhone 14 details are here; check what leak shows
The iPhone 13 series has just been launched, but the leaks around iPhone 14 are becoming too hot to handle!
Apple last week launched the iPhone 13 series consisting of the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Mini, the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now, just a week after the iPhone 13 series launch, the internet is being flooded with details of the iPhone 14 series that will arrive in the fall of 2022. The latest report comes from noted Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo who has divulged details about the iPhone 14 Pro models that are good enough to make you forget the iPhone 13! So, check out the comparison - iPhone 13 vs iPhone 14.
Apple introduced the famous ‘notch’ with the launch of the iPhone X in 2017. However, there are many who don't like it and want Apple to get rid of it. Since then it has been a recurring feature in the iPhone models. This year, Apple reduced the size of the notch in the iPhone 13 series, but did not get rid of it in 2021 iPhone models. Now, word is that Apple is finally planning to bid adieu to the notch in its iPhone 14 models!
Kuo told MacRumours the iPhone 14 Pro models, that is, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max, will come with a punch-hole design wherein the cutout will hold the front camera. This design is similar to the premium Samsung Galaxy smartphones. The Apple analyst said that in addition to the punch-hole display, Apple will also move the Face ID sensors on iPhone 14 under the display.
In addition to this, Kuo says that the Pro variants in the iPhone 14 series will also get a major camera upgrade. They are expected to come with a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens at the back. This would be a major upgrade from the existing 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor that is available in the iPhone 13 Pro models.
Lastly, Kuo said that while the iPhone 14 series will arrive in the second half of 2022, which is in line with iPhone’s usual launch timeline, Apple is expected to launch the third-generation iPhone SE with 5G support in the second half of 2022. The second-generation iPhone SE was launched in April 2020.
Separately, other, older reports have detailed that the Pro level iPhone 14 series is tipped to come with a triple rear camera setup and a punch-hole display with support for TouchID and FaceID. They are expected to be powered by Apple’s A16 Bionic chipset that will be manufactured using the 4nm process. The Pro level iPhone 14 models are also expected to come with 2.5D ceramic shield design with flexible OLED display panels.
Sounds exciting enough not to buy the iPhone 13 and instead wait for the sizzling hot iPhone 14? Go figure!
