itel on Wednesday said that it would offer its itel A23 Pro smartphone to Reliance Jio users for ₹3,899. The smartphone is originally priced at ₹4,999. Interested customers can buy the phone at Reliance Digital Stores, MyJio Stores, Reliancedigital.in and other retail stores. The company added that itel A23 Pro is its most affordable 4G smartphone till date.

“With this initiative, itel and Jio users will get itel A23 Pro at an attractive price of INR 3,899 which was earlier priced at INR 4,999, thus unleashing an opportunity to truly democratize technology for all consumers. Under this offer, data connectivity will be available on the Jio network. itel A23 Pro customers on Jio would be entitled to benefits worth Rs. 3,000. The benefits include ₹3,000 worth vouchers from partners on select prepaid recharge of Rs. 249 & above. This offer is applicable to new as well as existing Jio subscribers,” the company said in a release.

itel A23 Pro will go on sale across India starting June 1.

Specifications & features

itel A23 Pro comes with a 5.0-inch display with 480x854 pixels resolution. It measures 145.4 x 73.9 x 9.85mm.

The handset runs on a 1.4GHz SC9832E quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The phone comes with 8GB of ROM and supports expandable storage up to 32GB via a microSD card. It packs a 2,400mAh battery. On the software front, it runs on Android 10.0 (Android Go edition).

For photography, itel A23 Pro comes with a 2-megapixel single rear camera. On the front, it houses a VGA camera with a soft flash.

It also comes with 4G VoLTE/ViLTE support and dual-SIM support. According to itel, at least one slot data functionality is available with the Jio SIM only, and the other slot is functional for other operators for non-data activities. The phone comes in Sapphire Blue and Lake Blue colour options.
