Mi 11 Lite in the works, key specifications leaked online
Xiaomi may soon expand its Mi 11-series with new phones. The Mi 11 Lite could be the most affordable one in the series.
Xiaomi recently launched Mi 11-series in China. The lineup currently features just one model, Mi 11. The company, however, will soon expand the series with new versions. Already, we have come across details around the Mi 11 Pro. And now, first set of leaks around an alleged Mi 11 Lite have emerged.
According to Digital Chat Station (via Gizchina), Mi 11 Lite will skip the waterdrop display in favour of a punch-hole design. It will also come with a 33W MMT solution charging coupled with a 4,250mAh battery. The leakster further said it would also sport a slim body.
The leak comes shortly after the alleged Mi 11 Lite was spotted on a Switzerland certification website. The listing revealed the phone comes with MIUI 12. It also has 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB built-in storage.
The new information is pretty much in line with what The Pixel (a Vietnamese YouTube channel) had said about the upcoming phone. According to the YouTuber, Mi 11 Lite will come with a punch-hole camera and a flat display. The camera unit will resemble the Mi 11 but will come without the embellishments.
Rumours suggest Mi 11 Lite will run Qualcomm's Snapdragon 732G processor. It is said to come with a triple rear camera setup. The configuration is said to be 64-megapixel, 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel. The phone could be priced at around $346 ( ₹25,000 approximately).
Separately, Xiaomi is gearing up for the global launch of Mi 11. The new flagship phone from Xiaomi comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. It has a 6.81-inch WQHD (3200 x 1440 pixels) resolution AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, P3 colour spectrum and Corning gorilla Glass Victus.
The handset also has a 108-megapixel primary rear camera with a 1/1.33-inch large sensor, 7P lens and f/1.85 aperture in addition to a 123-degree wide-angle 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel telephoto/macro lens. The cameras come with support for 8K video recording at 24/30fps as well. At the front, you get a 20-megapixel camera.
Mi 11 is available in China for a starting price of Yuan 3,999 ( ₹45,000).
