Xiaomi to soon launch Mi 11 globally

The company in an official teaser said that the Mi 11 Series Global Launch is coming soon.

Xiaomi will soon launch the Mi 11 series globally. The company has not yet disclosed the official launch date but has confirmed that a global launch is going to happen very soon.

Xiaomi had launched Mi 11 last month in China. The flagship smartphone is available for a starting price of Yuan 3,999 ( 45,000). It comes in Black, Blue, Smoke Purple and White colours. There is also a special Lei Jun Signature Edition with 12GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage.

One of the biggest highlights of the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The chipset will power a wide range of mid-range and premium Android smartphones in 2021.

The handset comes with a 6.81-inch WQHD (3200 x 1440 pixels) resolution AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, P3 colour spectrum and Corning gorilla Glass Victus.

It has a 108-megapixel primary rear camera with a 1/1.33-inch large sensor, 7P lens and f/1.85 aperture in addition to a 123-degree wide-angle 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel telephoto/macro lens. The cameras come with support for 8K video recording at 24/30fps as well. At the front, you get a 20-megapixel camera.

The phone comes with a 4,600mAh battery with Quick Charge 4+ fast charging support. It runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5. Other key features of the phone include Harman Kardon dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6 support and IR sensor.

Separately, Xiaomi is also gearing up for the launch of Mi 11 Pro. According to official teasers, the phone comes with a different camera design than the Mi 11. The phone will also feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 SoC, 108-megapixel primary camera, and 6.8-inch QWHD panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz sampling rate and 1500-nit peak brightness.
