Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ 5G goes official, features 50MP Sony IMX766 camera sensor
Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ 5G has gone official. The phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, 90Hz AMOLED 6.55-inch display, and 4,500mAh battery.
Oppo on Thursday officially launched Reno 5 Pro+ 5G in China. It is the third phone in the premium handset series, which features Reno 5 5G and Reno Pro 5G. The new model, also the most expensive in the new lineup, will be available for a starting price of CNY 3,999 ( ₹45,000 approximately). The top-end model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 4,499 ( ₹50,600 approximately).
Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ 5G Specifications
The handset comes with a 6.55-inch display with full HD+ resolution and AMOLED panel. The screen comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. For performance, the phone relies on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM and up to 256GB built-in storage. A 4,500mAh battery with 65W SuperVooc 2.0 fast charging support powers the phone.
In the camera department, Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ 5G comes with as many as four sensors on the back – 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor, 16-megapixel, 13-megapixel, and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Connectivity options on the phone include NFC, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5, and Wi-Fi.
As of now, there is no word on the release date of Reno 5 Pro+ 5G in India. The company, however, has begun teasing the launch of Reno 5 Pro 5G in India.
Reno 5 Pro 5G has a quad-camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone also has a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies. Oppo Reno 5 5G runs on a 4,350mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. The phone runs on MediaTek 1000+ 5G chip coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage. It has a 6.4-inch full HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
