Poco M3 Pro 5G confirmed to feature MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset

Poco M3 Pro 5G will also come with a higher refresh rate, more RAM and a faster storage module.

Poco is launching the M3 Pro 5G smartphone on May 19. The company has now revealed that the Poco M3 Pro 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. It had previously teased a MediaTek Dimensity chipset but did not specify the model. This is the first major detail Poco has revealed about its upcoming 5G phone.

Poco M3 Pro 5G is also confirmed to offer a higher refresh rate, more RAM and a faster storage module. Poco also plans to retire the X3 once the M3 Pro is launched. Poco X3 Pro will still be available. There isn't much that we know about the Poco M3 Pro 5G but a recent leak has given us a good look at the phone's design. The phone is seen featuring an enhanced rear camera module highlighting the Poco branding. There's a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a punch-hole camera as well. Poco M3 Pro is also seen with the 5G branding confirming the feature. It will come in three colours according to this leak.

Some reports also suggest that the Poco M3 Pro 5G will be a rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G. Going by this speculation we can expect a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate on the Poco M3 Pro 5G. The smartphone will also come with a 5,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support. Its triple camera setup will include a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It could also launch with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
